The value of license plate recognition is two fold. The camera is great for identifying stolen vehicles or other vehicles of interest while on patrol, but the giant pools of data that can be accessed anytime is invaluable.

Mr. Joyce is a retired member of the NYPD in the rank of Lieutenant Commander of Detectives. He commanded the NYPD Cold Case Squad upon his retirement and additionally held many other roles within the detective and organized crime bureaus. Prior to working with Vigilant Solutions, Tom was the Director of Law Enforcement Market Planning for LexisNexis Government Services.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, Trevor Smith is Executive Vice President of Brite. Trevor’s main responsibilities include management of the sales teams, marketing efforts and building upon the strategic partner relationships. Changing with the industry, Trevor has helped evolve Brite from a Whitebox manufacturer to a technology thought leader in the Public Safety industry. While at Brite, Trevor has worked with numerous entities throughout the country to design, recommend and implement essential information technology solutions.
